Vision
We live in an age where the Internet is the most common source of information and the volumes of encyclopedias that once filled our home bookcases have been replaced with Google searches and YouTube clips. As a society, we have totally changed the way we learn, research, communicate and engage personally or professionally. The mobile phone is the central piece of technology that has facilitated this change. We are connected 24/7 via our phones, WiFi, Bluetooth and IoT devices, and yet AV has remained relatively unchanged over the past 30 years.
With 88% of Australians owning a smart phone and relying on the digital domain for much of their day-to-day requirements, the question needs to be asked. Can we, as AV professionals, keep designing and delivering isolated, unconnected AV systems that require custom embedded code and local support? We say NO!
Our vision – Is to allow users to effectively communicate with their audience by:
- Creating AV systems that support the experience, not dictate the experience
- leverage IT based principles and infrastructure to provide systems that bridge the virtual, physical and content domains to ensure remote and local users enjoy the same experience regardless of their location
- Provide unprecedented levels of service, support and asset management
Whilst we are passionate about the future of AV, and the amazing benefits this new approach will deliver, we have not forgotten the first principles of design, which is understanding the user’s requirements. Our broad experience allows us to design the best solution, using the relevant technology and systems, to satisfy your requirements. We also understand that a Converged AV may not be the best solution in all cases and during the design phase we will identify all the options and highlight any potential benefits available by leveraging newer technologies and approaches. This will ensure the final design meets the requirements of both the users and the business.
